La Petite Guyonniere
La Petite Guyonniere consists of a traditional Vendéen farmhouse and attached cottage: Le Marronnier and Le Petit Bouleau. It is situated in 5 acres of established grounds on a hilltop in the sunny Western Vendee. Surrounded by pretty villages and picturesque historic towns boasting chateau, markets, churches and quaint shops, there is always somewhere interesting to visit. Just 20 minutes drive away are miles of wide, sandy beaches and interesting ports of the Atlantic coast; a trip to one of the small islands is an absolute must. You can of course stay closer to home and enjoy our extensive grounds with exotic trees, shrubs and wildlife. There is a 10m x 5m, heated swimming pool (shared facility) with a large sun terrace, sun loungers, chairs and parasols. There are B-B-Q areas, a boules court, table tennis, bar football table, darts, swings and an ornamental pond brimming with fish. The grounds and outbuildings are just begging to be explored; perfect for hide-and-seek, or just chill by the pool and enjoy the delightful views over open fields and woodland. Watching a spectacular sunset with a glass of local wine is about as relaxing as it can get.
